Code of Ethics

On every business card we share with the people we meet along the way, on the front you’ll find our Contact Information, and our Code of Ethics is on the back.  This is our straight up approach to honesty and integrity.

Code of Ethics

  • I will respect private property and will not enter private property without the owner’s permission.
  • I will take care to refill all holes made during recovery of items.  [we use a specialty hand-held tool made for metal detecting designed to cut a cylindrical “plug” that can be removed and reinserted for a very clean recovery of items]
  • I will remove and dispose of all trash and litter found.
  • I will leave gates as found.
  • I will use thoughtfulness, consideration and courtesy at all times.
  • I will not tamper with signs, structural facilities or equipment.
  • I will appreciate and protect our heritage of natural resources, wildlife and private property.
  • I will report the discovery of any items of significant historical value to the local historian or museum.
